Beach Wedding on Whidbey Island – The Reilly’s

Meet the Reilly’s!

There is just something really special about an intimate wedding on the beach. This dreamy beach wedding was also a BACKYARD wedding, and was just all kinds of perfect from beginning to end.

These two sweethearts, Shawna and Sean (How cute, right?) tied the knot at Shawna’s grandparents house on Whidbey Island surrounded by their family and close friends. That gorgeous driftwood wedding arch? Grandpa built it by HAND for these two. The love these two were surrounded by on their special day was so great, and I’m so excited to have been there to capture it and now to share this wedding gallery with the world.

Before the ceremony, Shawna and Sean shared a first look and I’m telling you it was the sweetest moment, I’m still crying. (Scroll to check it out, seriously). Shawna looked so beautiful in a classic white wedding dress with a floral detail all down the sleeves. She was just stunning especially to Sean who couldn’t hold back the emotion for his first look at his bride. But, who doesn’t cry at weddings right?

After some outdoor bride and groom photos out in nature, that I’m so in love with still, it was TIME. The couple toasted with some beers before the big moment, which was one of my favorite parts, then headed out.

The intimate ceremony, set up on the beach was too beautiful and the weather couldn’t have been better. The driftwood arch was decorated with white florals to match Shawna’s bridal bouquet and the beach views were actually breathtaking. Shawna and Sean’s family and close friends listened to them saying their “I do’s” as the waves crashed behind them and the sun shone on the newly married couple.

The bride, groom and loved ones traveled to the celebration where they ate, danced under the sky and listened to some live music! The whole day was so brilliant, beautifully authentic, mellow and so full of love, a true representation of Shawna and Sean. I am so thrilled to have been a part of this day and witnessed and captured this gorgeous wedding. Congratulations to the Reilly’s. Cheers to forever, you two!
