Cold & Intimate, Snowy Winter Wedding at Frozen Lake – Lake Wenatchee
This intimate winter wedding was the kind of snowy, fairytale day we all dream of!
There was something about the fresh snowfall, the quiet of nature and the white Washington sky that just amplified the magic of wedding day for these two, and DEFINITELY (I mean definitely) deepened the romance as well.
The secluded, intimate ceremony beside the frozen lake while the snow fell on the bride and groom was breathtaking and almost surreal. The whole day felt like something out of a fairytale.
Braden and Caitlin traveled to Lake Wenatchee for their winter wedding from Texas! Now, Washington winters are nothing new to me, but let me tell you. It was COLD. So hats off to these two for braving the snow for their special day. The fact that it was freezing but SO incredibly worth it (a million times over) made the day all the more special. When I tell you this was an extraordinary union, I mean it to the fullest extent! No venue, no reception, no flowers. Just the people they loved and God. (And me.)
Before the ceremony, Caitlin and Braden shared an emotional first look! I can’t tell you exactly what Braden felt when he saw his bride for the first time. But I will say it was intense, because after that, he didn’t take his eyes off of her.
Caitlin looked breathtaking and effortlessly so. Her sleek, floor length silk bridal gown was so beautiful surrounded by the falling snow and she wore it with a white fur coat for most of the day. She was magic. She looked like a princess. And even I wanted to cry.
The two were married by their youth pastor David on a frozen, snow covered shore in front of their families and God. There were only a handful of people at the ceremony but the love for the bride and groom was overwhelming. It was nothing short of perfect and I’m sure it was everything they hoped it would be!
Congratulations on forever to Mr. & Mrs. Houston!
I hope your lives together are just as beautiful as this day was!
